Switchgear is a high-capacity assembly used for protection, isolation, and control of electrical circuits, typically at service entrance level. Switchboards distribute power to multiple circuits in commercial and industrial settings. Panelboards are smaller distribution assemblies for branch circuits. All three are available from DEI Power in NEMA 1 or NEMA 3R enclosures with amperage options from 400A to 4000A.

DEI Power's products are UL 891 certified for low-voltage switchgear assemblies, EUSERC approved for utility service entrance compliance, and manufactured as a Siemens Approved OEM. All assemblies also meet seismic zone requirements under UBC, CBC, and IBC standards, making them suitable for all seismic zones across the USA.

DEI Power's 1000A equipment is available across a wide range of voltage configurations including 120/240V, 208Y/120V, 240V, 240/120V, 480V, 480Y/277V, and 415/240V. A Service Entrance Section (SES) is the point of entry where utility power connects to a building's electrical distribution system. It typically includes the main disconnect and metering provisions, and must be built to approved utility specifications. DEI Power's SES units are UL 891 certified and EUSERC approved, and are available in NEMA 1 or NEMA 3R enclosures in amperage ratings from 400A to 4000A.

NEMA 1 enclosures are designed for indoor use, protecting equipment from dust and contact with live parts in conditioned environments. NEMA 3R enclosures are rated for outdoor use, providing additional protection against rain, sleet, and ice formation. DEI Power offers all 1000A power distribution products in both NEMA ratings so they can be specified correctly for indoor mechanical rooms or outdoor pad-mounted installations.

Most orders ship within 1 business day from DEI Power's 50,000 sq. ft. Ontario, California facility, with standard delivery in 3–5 business days.
